About the Author
Martin Wein was born in Essen in 1975, painted his first self-portrait in Aachen, rode away from the mean neighbor's dog on a tricycle in Diepholz, and played the flute and soccer for the first time in Wilhelmshaven. After a newspaper traineeship, studies, and a doctorate in history, he now works in his own editorial office in Bonn. He has since published 23 non-fiction books and two novels. However, he especially enjoyed looking back on the youth of his own generation.
