Vintage Copper Coal Shuttle / Log Basket

A wonderful vintage copper coal shuttle / log basket This great vintage piece has 2 handles on the rear that have had detail ceramic handles added in a lovely white and blue design making it quite a unique piece. It is old and does have age related signs of wear. My mum and dad had used this as a coal bucket so the inside shows this and would need a very good polish to bring up the copper. The very end outside rim also has signs of it being close to the fire! I polished the outside up when we took it as a log holder but I did struggle with the last inch of the wood rim, All show in the pics. There are also some age related dents and knocks to the copper which you can see in the pics. It’s a lovely piece and with the ceramic handles it’s been updated and modernised. Looks amazing next to the fire and holds about 6 / 7 logs Size; 48cm x 25cm x 36cm high
