This is a beautiful Swedish Gustavsberg collectable Christmas plate from 1982. Christmas plates was an annual Gustavsberg tradition between 1971-1994. This particular plate was designed by Stig Lindberg, who designed the series from 1981-1985. The plate features Santa Lucia with her sisters and brother, maidens and starboy, as they are bringing cookies and goodies in their home early on a Dec 13Th. (A beloved Swedish tradition).The plate is in excellent vintage condition - like new - and it comes in the original box.
