Mats Jonasson's talent as a designer attracted attention early on, when he started to work as an apprentice engraver at the glassworks in 1950 after leaving school at the age of 14. Over the next few decades, he worked with many of the most respected contemporary glass artists in Sweden. Inspired by ancient Sagas and Mythology, Mats Jonasson has created his own series of miniature masqot spirit in crystal with a little imagination. Today, discerning collectors have begun to collect these masterpieces of world renwned glass designer Mats Jonasson.
