This is the catalog sold in conjunction with the "Basquiat: Made in Japan" exhibition held at the Mori Arts Center Gallery in Roppongi, Tokyo in 2019.
Jean-Michel Basquiat, who suddenly appeared on the NY art scene in the 1980s and died at the young age of 27.
He became interested in street art around the age of 17, and in just about 10 years, he left behind over 3,000 drawings and over 1,000 paintings. This exhibition was Basquiat's first full-scale exhibition in Japan, consisting of approximately 130 paintings, objects, and drawings collected from all over the world.
The condition is very clean. There are no scratches or crushed corners. However, since this is a used item, please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about minor imperfections.
