This Multi-Color shoulder bag / Morral was hand woven and Hand Embroidered by Tzotzil Mayan women of Chamula in the highlands of Chiapas Mexico. This bag is 100% Sheep Wool from the sheep that these ladies raise .... This piece was woven on a back strap loom with colorful embroidered patterns all over the front and the back side is plain.
It measures aprox: 6 inches wide by 7 inches tall.
This is a wonderful example of Mexican Folk art, and is a very reasonable price for the amount of work that has gone into creating it!
