This skirt is Vintage Next. It is figure hugging to the sides with two gores to the front - gores are triangular fabric panels, sewn vertically to fit the skirt smoothly at the waist and hips and allow it to flare out toward the hem. I had to look it up! The effect though is beautiful, flowing movement. There is yet more detailing to the back with a narrow panel of 5 ruffles and the stretch waist band has lace trim. The fabric is stretchy and never creases.
