XBYO is an iconic Adidas design that originated in the 1960s as a heel cage for Adidas shoes in Italy. This apparel collection combines inspiration from the X motif, which was also used in apparel in 2001, shortly after the birth of "Adidas Originals," with Japanese pattern technology and materials. The traditional motifs and cutting are by Satomi Nakamura, a leading figure in Japanese pattern cutting, who has worked on men's patterns for over 20 years in world-renowned collection brands and also has experience at a sports manufacturer. Based on ergonomics, the collection features three-dimensional cutting based on meticulously calculated 3D cutting and darts instead of fabric switching. By adding a refined cut to classic streetwear, it creates a newness through "discomfort" and a unique silhouette that does not restrict movement, even in its simplicity.
